MY SERVICES
For my training program, I specialize in incorporating positive reinforcement and clicker training involvement into a dressage foundation. Positive reinforcement involves the use of food and offers a force-free, highly communicative method to understanding and shaping horse behavior. Clicker training proves especially useful for problem horses, starting horses under saddle, and various extents of groundwork, including trick training, while also drastically benefitting performance in sport horses.

TREAT YOUR HORSE LIKE A HORSE
Our program recommends free-choice, low NSC grass hay, with alfalfa portions according to weight. Vitamin E, flax, magnesium, and psyllium powder are great additions to any supplemental program. Horses are social creatures with an instinct to graze and stomachs built for consistent intake; we prove that The Three F's - friends, forage, and freedom - are essential to creating a sustainable, healthy lifestyle for every horse. Therefore, we believe educating owners is as important to the program as training the horse.

Meyer Horsemanship works closely with our veterinarians, acknowledging that prevention, lifestyle, and nutrition are as important as recovery. "No hoof, no horse;" farrier scheduling and services are recommended within our program.

TRAINING & PRICING
Price shown is limited to one horse per client. We are located at Swanhill Farms, in Somis, California.
FULL TRAINING

This full training plan focuses on a correct, biomechanical foundation for dressage, hunter/jumper, trail, and general riding horses under any style saddle, leaning into classical dressage basics and concepts. Your horse will be in work four days per week, lessons included. Full training is not available for off-site clients and stalls are limited.

PERSONAL SESSION

Lessons are available to off-site clients pursuing dressage, curious about clicker training, looking to improve their foundation and skills across disciplines, needing assistance in problem solving, and more. We are currently at high capacity and are thankful for your patience.
